Spring, summer, and fall, The Arboretum is the perfect backdrop for your events. 

The purpose of the Arboretum is to provide a public green space for the education about and enjoyment of our natural world.  Since 1995, The Arboretum has been connecting children, families, and outdoor enthusiasts with plants and our community. 

Create a memorable event for your group or organization at the Arboretum. Schedule your meeting, a social get-together, or even a family celebration and your event will be enhanced by the Arboretum’s scenic vistas, colorful gardens, and relaxing meeting spaces, both indoors and outside. 

Guided tours are available and depend upon availability. Please call the office at (319)226-4966 two weeks in advance to make a reservation.
