Board members are people who volunteer their time and talents to the Arboretum and are a critical part of our success as an organization. Our board members
include nature lovers, local leaders, educators, skilled trade workers, community influencers, and people who want to make a difference in the world.
As a board member, you can help us to continue the mission we began over 20 years ago to improve the lives of others through horticulture. Experience with plants is not required and you get a chance to meet new people, gain valuable experience, and be a part of something unique in the Cedar Valley.
If you'd like to submit an application, you can do so online or by filling out the printable form and returning to the office in person, in the mail, or by email. Applications to be voted on during the April Annual Membership meeting must be received by March 25th. Applications are accepted all year round and are kept on file until a seat on the board needs to be filled and/or presented to the nominating committee before the yearly membership meeting in April.
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. A staff or committee member will be in touch after receiving your application.
