Held the night before the Fall Harvest Festival, Wine & Scarecrows is a night of good food, wine and music in the gardens. Guests have the opportunity to bid on high-end items in the silent auction as well as get a sneak-peak of all the scarecrows competing in the next day's contest.

Our evening of good food and wine, music, beautiful gardens
and art helps support the wonderful programming and operations at the Cedar Valley Arboretum & Botanic Gardens.

Our performing artisans will include welding artist Deb Ewoldt of Blacksmith Boutique & Garden Studio in Dysart, glass fuser Jordan Llewellyn of Studio L Glassworks, potter Larry Skeries, hand rug hooking by Eleanor Vanous and Bev Pyle of Between the Rivers Rug Hooking Guild, woodworker Ryan Bonjour, watercolorist Anne Olsson and spinning and knitting by Leslie Adrian of Crazy Girl Yarn Shop.

Guests will be able to bid on silent auction items in the Artists Gallery of art and garden items donated by the performing artists as well as from local artists and businesses such as hand dyed silk by Joan Webster-Vore, a carved floral tile by Moira Brown, a hand-hooked piece by Joyce Kloster, nature photography by Bill Schuermann, a handmade wooden bench by Randy Robinson, a quilted piece by Wanda Wehner, garden art by Jolene Rosauer, raku pottery by Nancy Briggs, a fall wreath from Basket of Daisies, a nature gift basket from Hy-Vee Floral and gift certificates from Moments in Thyme Catering, Wells Hollow Landscaping, and Wapsie Pines Lawn Care & Landscaping.
