Cultivating Wellness Series

Cultivating Wellness Series

Take part in learning about personal wellness

Wellness is deeply tied to our surroundings, and sometimes you just need a helping hand to create a space or learn skills to help improve your personal wellness. Join instructor, Tracy Grandy, for three fun sessions that help to reconnect your mind, body, and soul to the natural world around us. You do not need to attend all three sessions in the series.

About Tracey Grandy:

Tracy Grandy is a long-time educator and gardener. She is a professor emeritus in psychology at Hawkeye Community College, and a practitioner of therapeutic horticulture through Wellness Blooms, LLC. She began growing flowers and veggies alongside her grandmother and mother as a child and witnessed the positive impact of nature and gardening on all of their lives. Since retiring from full-time teaching in 2019, Tracy has earned a certificate in horticultural therapy and enjoys facilitating workshops and classes that bring people and plants together to enhance physical and emotional wellness.
