Visitors can park in the parking lot, which is all the way to the left once you enter the Arboretum.

Please do not park along the road.

During the hours of 9am-5pm Monday through Saturday, the entrance into the Gardens is through the Welcome Center only.

If you have issues with mobility and need assistance, please call at least 2 days in advance to reserve a time for us to give you a tour. We can take visitors with limited mobility on a tour on the golf cart, which will only fit 2 people. This costs $3/person.

During the 2014 Season, there is a suggested admission donation of $3/adult and $1/child.

We sincerely hope you enjoy your visit to the Arboretum and come back often!

34 Acre Oasis of Natural Beauty

The Arboretum sits on 34 acres just east of Hawkeye Community College. With an emphasis on our natural world, the buildings, gardens, and artwork have a strong organic theme, tied to Iowa's agricultural roots.

Guided tours are available and depend upon availability. Please call the office at (319)226-4966 two weeks in advance to make a reservation.
