"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal." - Albert Pike, writer, and philanthropist

The Cedar Valley Arboretum and Botanic Gardens is a special place in our community. Beyond the beautiful and inspiring gardens, the Arboretum makes a difference in the lives of others by

  • Offering educational opportunities about nature to people of all ages
  • Leading local pollinator habitat restoration efforts
  • Providing fresh fruit to the food bank from our Master Gardener’s Orchard
  • Encouraging a sense of wonder about the natural world through children’s activities such as the gnome scavenger hunt
  • And more!

Because of supporters like you, we can provide a site with over 40 acres of natural Iowa habitat and uniquely themed gardens, as well as encourage a lifetime appreciation of nature.
